WELCOME!

What IS forest bathing?

Forest bathing (also called forest therapy) is a wellness practice rooted in scientific research that helps individuals engage with the natural world using all the senses in order to reap positive physiological and psychological benefits. It’s more than a walk in the woods; it’s an immersion into the full experience of the forest and nature.

Interact with nature with all of your senses; engage with the sights, sounds, and smells of the forest.

BENEFITS OF

Forest bathing:

Who should forest bathe?

Since less than a half mile is covered on each walk, guided forest bathing walks are appropriate for all ages and abilities. I use techniques to support participants in entering a state of embodied awareness. By moving through a series of 'invitations', individuals are encouraged to tune into each of their senses, move into a liminal space, and experience the resulting wellness benefits.

What a great alternative to other forms of stress relief.

FEEDBACK + REVIEWS

Experiencing forest bathing for the first time with Brandy as my guide was restorative and thoroughly enjoyable. Her invitations to notice helped me slow down and meaningfully engage with the living world around me.

I am a nature lover already but this experience taught me to absorb and appreciate in a deeper, healing way.

I just had to express to you how meaningful the forest bathing experience was for me. It was truly life changing in small, but lovely ways. I’m one who walks fast and wants a lot of distance to show for my times in nature. This slowing down was so good for me and I have such wonderful memories of all the small things I experienced. Last night and today I have noticed being more mindful of sensory experiences - tastes and smells especially - without consciously trying. I also notice when I went down to the river as soon as I saw it my whole body just relaxed. Amazing.
